Shoulder Anatomy Review

The shoulder is a ball and socket joint, and is one of the most mobile joints of the body. ​
Bones of the shoulder include: 
  • Humerus - arm
  • Scapula - shoulder blade
  • Glenoid - "socket" of the shoulder, which is attached to the scapula
  • Clavicle - collar bone

Soft Tissue Structures of the shoulder include: 
  • Labrum - ring around the rim of the glenoid that helps provide stability to the shoulder
